Job Title: Risk and Compliance Officer

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the alignment of the Risk management process with Organizational Policies and appropriate regulatory frameworks.
- Develop and implement an effective Compliance program.
- Review and evaluate internal controls and submit appropriate recommendations.
- Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses.
- Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation.
- Educate and train staff on regulations and industry practices.
- Encourage a high level of awareness of all risks in the business including fraud prevention, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, credit risk, operational risk, and compliance risk, KYC, AML, KRI and BCM.
- Manage and oversee the monitoring of Regulatory Compliance requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Degree in related field.
- He/She should ensure that our operations and business transactions follow all relevant Legal and internal rules.
- He/She should be a reliable professional who is not afraid to speak their mind and stand by their decisions.
- He/She ought to ensure we operate in a Legal and ethical manner while meeting our business objectives.
- They MUST possess the ability to analyze and understand the business needs and strategies and interpret into operational, financial and compliance risk strategies.
- He/She will be required to meet tight deadlines and to satisfy customer service requirements in an agile way.
