Job Title: Nurse Manager

Mt Elgon Hospital Mbale Ltd located on Plot 10-12. Independence Avenue. in Mbale City is a private hospital which has been in operation since 2009 with a Mission of providing timely and cost effective specialized clinical services using motivated professional for a satisfying client experience and a Vision of ‘A preferred health service provider.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draw, implement and monitor quality improvement strategies in nursing of patients at the hospital
- Motivate, support staff and develop skills and knowledge of the nurses and midwives
- Offer effective working relationship with staff. building teamwork leading to good clinical care
- allocate and monitor duty coverage of nurses and midwives in the hospital to ensure timely and client centered care
- Supervise the day-to-day client centered nursing care provision in the hospital
- Participate in budgeting planning monitoring and evaluation of nursing/midwifery service of the hospital
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of a diploma in Nursing /midwifery obtained from a recognized institution of higher learning with full registration with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives council
- Valid Annual practicing license and a minimum of five (5) years of working experience, three (3) must have been gained from a supervisory position in a reputable heath institution
