Job Summary: The Manager, Senior, Business Support & Resolution to identify, manage and provide advice in connection with Business & Commercial Banking and CIB distressed and defaulted exposures in line with the Business Support & Resolution Mandate.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Management of Watchlist, early arrears and Non-Performing Accounts under the Business Support & Resolution(BS &R) Mandate
- Support Business Banking and CIB Teams with debt origination, and restructuring of Facilities
- Manage Recovery and Litigation matters under the BS & R portfolio in collaboration with Legal and other Support functions
- Provide leadership to the BS&R function as the 2nd in charge to the Head BS&R
- Manage all Governance and Reporting requirements within the Unit
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Type of Qualification: First Degree in Business Commerce, Finance and Accounting, Legal
- 3- 5 years banking experience preferably at a managerial level in Credit of a Tier 1 financial institution or Corporate finance experience in an Investment bank or Top tier audit firm
- Experience in a banking accounting / financial reporting/ controlling / risk management / risk reporting/ regulatory reporting.
- Experience in Loan origination, Structuring and Restructuring
- Previous collections/ debt recovery and Legal experience are an added advantage.
