Job Summary: Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda /CCBU is a subsidiary of CCBA, and we are currently seeking to recruit a Cold Drinks Equipment (CDE) Manager. As a CDE Manager, you will report directly to the Logistics Director. The primary role of the CDE Manager is to lead, develop, advise on, and support the successful implementation of the CDE strategy, business plan, and initiatives, so that the Company complies with the strategic priorities of long-term growth opportunities, leveraging scale and building fundamental processes, systems, and people capabilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver an effective CDE strategy and business plan based on research, benchmarking, analysis, insight, and logistics expertise.
- Monitor CDE utilization and provide advice on appropriate action to improve this.
- Monitor market conditions and develop and implement appropriate initiatives to ensure optimization of cooler management.
- Manage and control outsourced CDE services and contracts.
- Ensure optimal CDE Management system functioning.
- Ensure optimal CDE Management processes, practices, and policies are in place.
- Research and develop specifications and guidelines for new cooler acquisitions.
- Ensure the optimal process for the acquisition and disposal of CDE, in consultation with the logistics.
- Ensure optimal cold drink equipment deployment, placement, and availability.
- Monitor and manage
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum requirement: Bachelor of Science in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive and Power Engineering, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Added advantage: Advanced knowledge and understanding of FMCG logistics and Cooler management systems and processes.
- Five years of experience in cooler repairs and management
- Added Advantage: 3 years experience at a Managerial level
