Job Title:       Laboratory Technician  

Organization: Mt Elgon Hospital Mbale Ltd

Duty Station: Mbale, Uganda

Reports to: Laboratory Technologist

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out laboratory tests and produce uncompromised results
• Keep accurate records of tests
• Participate in the development and implementation of laboratory standard operating procedures
• Carry out quality control of laboratory test. reagent and equipment
• Participate in report writing about equipment and also by compiling reports on tests carried

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Holds a diploma in Laboratory Technology from a reputable Institution.
• Must be registered with the Allied health professional council and have a valid practicing license.
• At least three (3) years working professional experience in a similar position.
