Job Title: Internal Auditor

Duty Station: Bushenyi, Uganda
About US:
Kyamuhunga Peoples Co-operative Savings and Credit Society (KYAPS) is a Cooperative Savings and Credit Society (SACCO) duly registered with the Registrar of Co-operatives and issued with a certificate number 7053 in 2004.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assesses, evaluates, advises and promotes compliance to the internal control procedures and risk management procedures within KYAPS.
- Conducts risk assessments and identifies controls to put in place to mitigate identified risks.
- Plans financial, regulatory, compliance or operational reviews and audits.
- Ensures compliance with internal audit methodology and risk management as well as external audit and regulatory requirements.
- Prepares timely audit reports for SUPCO, the BOD and Management.
- Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by relevant authority.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Full professional qualifications of CPA.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or any related field from a recognized institution
- Should have Three (3) years of audit experience
- Age: 32 – 45 years
