Job Summary: Are you a licensed nurse or pharmacy technician with a passion to serve patients in pharmacy or drug store space? Do come and join our team in serving patients and promoting access to affordable healthcare to our communities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care services to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Medication Management:
- Monitor medication inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and coordinate medication orders and deliveries as necessary to ensure adequate stock.
ClinicPesa:
- Train and teach patients on how to prepare early in time towards their healthcare by creating clinicPesa accounts and saving towards healthcare.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards governing pharmacy practice, including but not limited to NDA, FDA regulations, and any other Ugandan pharmacy laws.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and other members of the healthcare team to facilitate coordinated patient care.
Professional Development:
- Maintain competency and proficiency in pharmacy practice through ongoing education, training, and professional development activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Must have a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in medical education or Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Education).
- Must be registered and in possession of a valid practicing License from Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
- Should have trained or worked in a pharmaceutical space for at least one year.
- Must be fluent in English
