Job Summary: We seek a dynamic, detail-oriented, and passionate Marketing Support Officer to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts, ensuring the smooth execution of marketing campaigns, enhancing our brand’s visibility across various platforms, engaging with targeted communities effectively on and off social media, and strategically utilizing the social media marketing roadmap. We aim to achieve exceptional follower engagement, foster connections, drive website traffic, and increase revenue.
The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of various social media platforms (particularly LinkedIn) and how to optimize content for maximum engagement. As a representative of Tunga, you will actively participate in relevant conversations, gently promoting our products/services using storytelling while supporting existing and potential clients. Your social media and content marketing expertise will be essential to achieving our goals and establishing strong brand connections.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Campaign Support: Assist in the planning, executing, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels.
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging content for blogs, social media, email newsletters, and other marketing materials.
- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, or video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
- Optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content.
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
- Pitch creative content to the editorial team and create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
- Data Management: Maintain and update the marketing database, ensuring accurate and timely entry of campaign performance data. Continuously improve by analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices and then acting on the information.
- Collaborate with other departments (talent, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and promoting events, webinars, and workshops, including logistics and attendee communication. Support community growth and engagement activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a marketing-related (social media marketing, content marketing, or digital media specialist) role, preferably within the tech or social enterprise sectors.
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar. Adequate knowledge of Canva design, WordPress content management system, and SEO
- Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major social media marketing channels, particularly LinkedIn
- Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
- Enthusiastic about learning and building communities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
