Job Title: Electrical Technician

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
- Ensure timely electrical trouble shooting and root cause analysis in case of break downs.
- Implement the preventive maintenance schedule for all factory electrical equipment.
- Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical/ electronic wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Repair, replace wiring equipment and install ground lead and connect power cables to equipment such as Motors.
- Ensure safety and all other employees.
- Any other responsibilities assigned to the job holder by the supervisor from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ working experience as an Electrical Technician in a similar work environment.
- A Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized institute of learning
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
- Must be self-motivated and a great team player.
