Job Title:   Corporate Social Responsibility CSR Officer – Maternity Cover

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Support the manager in project procurement, and contract management
  • Support the management of large project, and autonomously manage smaller projects
  • Based on validated needs, Identify, design, develop, and execute projects that deliver sustainable impacts. Engage with key stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure key stakeholders are engaged through the project lifecycle and beyond, and ensure project ownership, and support for key stakeholders.
  • Identify performance measures.
  • Monitor execution and evaluate CSR projects;
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Support the successful implementation of the TotalEnergies EP Ugandan CSR Strategy and action plan
  • Execute CSR initiatives as defined by the TotalEnergies Uganda strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with key internal departments to gain their support and input to CSR initiatives
  • Management of the CSR projects, programs, donation in coordination with Compliance team.

Communication

  • Develop internal content like news stories to raise awareness on key topics and celebrate our achievements
  • Prepare external news stories, press releases, articles for TEPU website, and other communication channels
  • Support the production of the annual CSR report publication, including gathering content and preparing write ups
  • Generate internal employee engagement for CSR activities within the Company;
  • Coordinate with internal teams to promote awareness TotalEnergies CSR initiatives among the general public.
  • Improve the awareness of CSR projects across the organization

Reporting

  • Coordinate CSR reporting, including managing our partners and community databases.
  • Update the CSR register and submit it quarterly to the Compliance Officer
  • Identify and maintain an updated database of relevant CSR contacts and database of relevant organisations, associations, institutions (NGOs, local CSOs, Donors)
  • Develop quarterly CSR budgets reviews in consultation with Finance team.
  • Timely updates of CSR inititaives in Borealis

Coordination

  • Manage our CSR Committee papers, minutes and administration.
  • Develop, support and implement Employee volunteering program (community initiatives, such as charity donations and volunteering activities) targeting One TotalEnergies staff in liaison with TEMUL.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Qualification: University Degree in Project management, Entrepreneurship and Project Planning, Development Studies and Operations
  • At least three years of experience in planning and management of community projects, development programs and/or in other similar area (Corporate Companies, NGOs, donors, State development funds, etc).
  • Ability to maintain good relations with a wide range of local stakeholders, Partners, NGOs, donor agencies, contractors, local authorities, local communities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility, Proactive and Team player
  • Capacity to work in the field.
  • Excellent Computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Good report writing and analytical skills.
  • Extreme sense of organization and attention to detail.
