Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Shop Attendant to join our team. The Shop Attendant will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service at our retail outlet. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, good communication, and a passion for serving customers in the agricultural sector.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales: Actively engaging with customers to promote products, upselling or cross-selling items, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Stock Management: Receiving and unpacking merchandise, stocking shelves, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring products are well-displayed and organized.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and presentable, including dusting shelves, sweeping floors, and maintaining overall store cleanliness.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Certificate in Agriculture or a related field (Certificate in Agriculture with work experience will also be considered).
- Deep-rooted passion for sustainable agriculture and a genuine commitment to fostering positive change in farming practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
