Job Title: Project Manager (Several Positions)

Excel Construction Ltd. is one of the leading players in the Ugandan Construction industry and operates nationally through their head office located at Plot 43-45 Eng. Zikusoka Way, Jinja. Excel construction Ltd was formed as a joint venture company between Muljibhai Madhvani and company and Gomba Construction Ltd in 1992.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Building works
- Man-Power management
- Quality and Value management
- Budgeting for materials
- Preparation of Material Requirement Schedules
- Preparation of budget for various activities in the project.
- Preparation / collection of BOQ based on actual drawings
- Preparing material requirement schedule, Checking material indent raised from site
- Preparation of monthly material reconciliation report for each site
- Responsible for collection of monthly progress reports and preparation of MIS report for each site.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in either Building or Civil Engineering
- Five years of relevant working experience and 3 years or more as a Project Manager in a construction company.
- UIPE registration will be an added advantage.
- All candidates must have computer knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and Autocad.
