Job Summary: Victoria University is seeking passionate and results-driven Marketing Officers to join our dynamic team. As a Marketing Officer, you will be a pivotal force in driving student recruitment and increasing enrollment. If you thrive on the challenge of customer acquisition, exceeding targets, and have a knack for creative marketing strategies, we want to hear from you.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns to attract and engage prospective students across various channels.
- Execute strategic outreach initiatives to schools, communities, and other target audiences to promote Victoria University’s programs and offerings.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to streamline the student recruitment process and ensure a positive applicant experience.
- Open and run social media channels, maintaining an active and engaging presence, and responding promptly to inquiries.
- Conduct market research and analyze competitor strategies to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data to make recommendations for optimization.
- Prepare regular reports for the Head of Marketing, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on customer acquisition and student recruitment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and occasional weekends, especially during peak recruitment periods.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a record of accomplishment of achieving and exceeding marketing goals.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
- Experience in the higher education sector is a plus.
- Graphic design or video editing skills are advantageous.
