Job Title: Senior Inspection Engineer

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
About US:
Avanti Energy Services Limited (Avanti) is a Ugandan national company, which engages in providing services to the upstream oil and gas production industry within Uganda. Avanti was awarded a contract by a major oil and gas service company to source and employ in excess of 100 Ugandan engineers, technicians, operators and laborers to support their oil drilling operations within Uganda.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education: BSc. In Engineering
- 10 years inspection services experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Candidates must possess lifting inspection certificates such as LEEA and NSL
- NDT (Min. ASNT level II) and DS-1 certifications are mandatory and must be valid
- In-depth understanding of inspection and technical reporting.
Additional requirements:
- Ability to work with diverse nationalities
- Good communication and writing skills in English language
- Willingness to travel to field and remote locations
- Must be ready to work independently
- Must be a good team player
- Ability to train and mentor trainee inspection engineers.
- Ability to speak Chinese is an added advantage.
