Job Title: Research Officer – Aquaculture

The National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO) is mandated to coordinate, oversee and guide agricultural research in Uganda. Over the years, NARO has generated technologies and products with Intellectual Property (IP) and commercial potential guided by relevant policies under her mission of innovating for sustainable agricultural transformation.
Job Summary: The Research Officer – Aquaculture will be responsible for planning, designing, and conducting research and presenting findings in their respective fields for enhanced and sustainable aquaculture production.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Sciences
- Master’s Degree in Aquaculture
- Should have a minimum of three years of demonstrated working experience in a related field and a proven record of publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Possession of a PhD or admission to a PhD Programme is an added advantage.
