About US:
Fins Medical University (FMU) has a long history spanning from 2010 when it started as a Nurses and Midwives Training College for certificate and diploma programs. Fins Medical University is a University licensed and regulated by the National Council for Higher Education.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sets tests, examinations and course work.
- Administers and invigilates tests and examinations.
- Marks tests, course work and examinations scripts, compiles and grades examination results.
- Guides and advises students on their academic performance.
- Conducts research and disseminates research findings through conferences, seminars and publications.
- Supervises undergraduate and post graduate students undertaking research projects.
- Conducts seminars and tutorials.
- Carnes out official administrative duties in the department as directed by the Head of Department.
- Contributes to the University and wider society through community service.
- Prepares well-researched lectures and delivers them to undergraduate and post-graduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate students undertaking research projects

- Registration with Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners’ Council
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Masters in a relevant field
- Should have a Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery from a reputable University.
- Should have a good track record of service in educational and health institutions
- Demonstrated computer literacy
