About US:
Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services for people with disability in Uganda (CoRSU) was established in 2006 as a private non-profit, nongovernmental organization and is supported by CBM (Christian Blind Mission). CoRSU provides Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Rehabilitation, mainly for children as well as adults with disability.
Job Summary: The IT Officer supports the Head of ICT to implement CoRSU’s ICT strategies. policies. and guidelines. He/she supports the Head of ICT in all ICT operations including managing the ERR. ICT security. ensuring ICT systems. applications. networks. and systems are secure and available. He/She will ensure deployment of cost-effective systems and services that support attainment of CoRSU’s goals.
The Officer shall provide high quality ICT services, including providing support to end-users to ensure optimum operation of CORSU’s ICT systems: including
managing incident response and escalating critical ones for better for future growth. and disaster recovery.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
- Certificate in IT Software Engineering will be an added advantage.
- Hands on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and HMIS
- Three years of post-qualification experience in IT in a reputable organization.
