Job Summary: Reporting to the Head of Bancassurance Operations, the Operations Support Officer will be responsible for the seamless running of the back-office operations to the satisfaction of bank partners and clients. As the ideal resource for this role, the successful candidate will be an ardent team player, with excellent people skills. In addition, she/he will be highly confidential, the go to person with an analytical mind-set, proactive and self-driven, with ability to meet deadlines on short notice.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure new business is tracked and reconciliations done in a timely manner
- Resolve bank partner and client queries within stipulated timelines
- Submit claim and benefit payments to the Finance team and ensure payments are made within stipulated timelines
- Prepare and submit commission payments to the Finance team and ensure payments are made within stipulated timelines
- Prepare Incentive payments and submit to the finance team
- Improve channel persistency across all bank partners
- Report on department performance to both internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure Internal business processes are followed
- Other duties: Perform any other duties as may be required
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelors Degree
- At least one year of working experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Demonstrated capability to manage own performance effectively, planning and organizing own time and priorities to achieve business results without substantial supervision.
- Strong time management skills
- Flexibility
- Attention to detail
