Job Summary: Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda /CCBU is a subsidiary of CCBA, and we are currently seeking to recruit an Engineering Stores Clerk at Namanve Plant in Kampala. As an Engineering Stores Clerk, you will report directly to the Engineering Stores Controller
The Engineering Stores Clerk will have the primary responsibility to ensure real-time and accurate stores operational data input and basic reporting of maintenance works at the Stores. The Engineering Stores Clerk works closely with the Engineering Stores Controller, to ensure the achievement of inventory management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage stock losses by implementing appropriate inventory management controls Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions,
- Collaborate with the planning/asset care team to develop and maintain an inventory management system that optimizes efficiency and minimize waste.
- To monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent stock shortages.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including accurate data entry, filling, and record keeping.
- Assist in the identification and implementation of cost -saving initiatives related to inventory management.
- Engage with suppliers through procurement department to develop partnerships and capability.
- Ensure that relevant reporting is done as per reporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental policies and procedures and applicable.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering /Diploma in Inventory and Logistics management.
- At least three years of experience in food Processing Plant. Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
