Job Summary:  The Country Manager is responsible for leading the company in Uganda. This role entails overseeing all aspects of the business, including sales target achievement, operational efficiency, compliance, effective resource management, financial management, and team leadership. The primary goal is to ensure sustainable growth and profitability while maintaining high standards of operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:


    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, management, or related field.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in senior management roles, experience in the manufacturing or chemical distribution industry will be an added advantage.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
    • Sound knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
    • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.
    • Proficient in managing travel requirements, including the ability to efficiently plan and execute trips to client locations.
    • Ownership or consistent access to a reliable mode of transportation for business-related travel such as a personal vehicle.
