Job Title:  Marketing Executive (4 No Experience Jobs)

About US:

Victoria Forest Resort is a beachfront resort located on Bugala Island which is the largest island of the Ssese archipelago. The Ssese archipelago consists of 84 Islands. Victoria Forest Resort provides views over Lake Victoria. Guests can relax beside the outdoor pool, in the extensive tropical gardens, or at our White Sand Beach. All of the rooms and cottages feature modern décor, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. The hotel features a restaurant that prepares a variety of international cuisine and local dishes.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: Organizing special events, themed nights, and entertainment programs to enhance the guest experience and attract visitors.
  • Promoting Island Experience: Highlighting the unique features and experiences offered by the island hotel, such as pristine beach, water sports, local cuisine, cultural activities, and eco-friendly initiatives.
  • Developing Marketing Strategies: Creating comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the hotel’s goals and objectives.
  • This involves identifying target markets, understanding customer preferences, and differentiating the hotel from competitors.
  • Sourcing Corporate Clients for Conferences, retreats and workshops
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Establishing partnerships with local businesses, tour operators, airlines, and travel agencies to cross-promote services and attract guests.
  • Customer Relationship Management




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field is required.
  • Previous Experience is necessary
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effectively conveying marketing messages to target audiences, as well as collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, interpret marketing metrics, and derive insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Market Research and Analysis
  • Excellent Report Writing Skills
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, concepts, and strategies. This includes knowledge of market research and consumer behavior,
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with team members, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
