Job Summary:   This is a full-time on-site role for a Tele Fraud Investigations Officer located in Kampala. The Tele Fraud Investigations Officer will be responsible for investigating instances of fraud and unauthorized usage of customer accounts. The Officer will be required to work with the team to prevent fraud before it happens and ensure that financial transactions comply with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, or a related field
• Two years of experience in fraud detection and investigations
• Experience with fraud investigation tools and techniques
• Familiarity with financial services regulations, compliance procedures, and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential risks and fraud patterns
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-first mindset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with customers
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages relevant to Uganda is a plus
