Job Summary:   The security officer will be responsible for supervising the security team providing security for all company assets and securing premises and personnel by patrolling property and provide occasional security reports to the Manager.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervising the Security team and Providing security for all company assets.
  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property.
  • Monitoring surveillance equipment.
  • Inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points and permitting entry.
  • Providing measures of prevention of losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
  • Informing violators of policy and procedures.
  • Restraining trespassers on the premises.
  • Making occasional security reports regarding the day-to-day operations and incidences.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Possess a diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum proven experience of 3 years or more in security operations on construction projects in a similar field of specialization.
  • Complete specific training before serving as a qualified security officer
  • Must be above 18 years old or the minimum age required by the State
  • Be able to work any shift.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings when scheduled
  • Be able to effectively read, write, and speak English
  • Certification training in security, law, and order in the society.
  • Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense.
