Job Summary: The Operations Manager will ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all operational aspects related to the supply chain, inventory management, logistics and overall business processes. Additionally, this role may involve monitoring and improving processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations as well as fostering continuous improvement initiatives to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.
- Oversee tender document submissions, contract management, Purchases, Sales, Stores and accounts receivable functions.
- Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Manage budgets and forecasts
- Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
- Find ways to increase quality of customer service
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field.
- Previous experience with a medical equipment supplies company is an added advantage
- Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Experience budgeting and forecasting
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership ability
