Job Summary: The primary responsibilities of this role include onsite service to support the installations, Maintenance, Fabrication works; proactively to solve the related questions during the equipment installation, commissioning and startup.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To execute all mechanical, electrical and electronic installations for subsequent commissioning.
- To carry out all day-to-day maintenance of all mechanical, electrical and electronic machines and equipment such as generators, medical equipment, weighing scales, boilers, air compressors in the field and at station.
- To adequately scope all clients’ work make the quotation and have it reviewed before being shared to the customer.
- To prepare and organize routine service and preventive maintenance schedules.
- To make part, working drawings, layouts with help of computer aided designs.
- Liaising with procurement in acquisition spare parts.
- Attending HSE meeting and making presentations for improvement.
- Monitoring of prevailing working conditions and ensure safe working practices at sites.
- Understanding all aspects of work permits functions including job risk assessment and isolation risk assessment.
- Maintaining and observing the relevant documentation related to projects, equipment qualification and preventive maintenance.
- Examine drawings and specifications to find out the materials and equipment requirement.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation including SOPs, checklists, qualifications and preventive maintenance.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least three years of similar experience.
- Conversant with Microsoft Office, Auto CAD and Solid Works
- Ability and flexibility to handle multiple projects and periods with high levels of pressure.
Competences and Technical skills
- Leadership skills and team player
- Analytical problem-solving skills and knowledge in manufacturing practices.
- Excellent knowledge in quality assurance and project planning and management
- Computer aided design (Auto CAD), Solid works, Rivet MEP and enterprise resource planning (ERP)
- Electrical power systems and good exposure to instrumentation and control
- Refrigeration air-conditioning and HVAC
- Water treatment and purification system, fire protection and fighting system.
