Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is the largest African Coca-Cola Bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. In Uganda, CCBA is represented by Century Bottling Company Limited and Rwenzori Bottling Company Limited.
Job Summary: Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda /CCBU is a subsidiary of CCBA, and we are currently seeking to recruit a Materials Planner based in Kampala. As a Materials Planner, you will report directly to the Central Planning Manager. The primary role of the Materials Planner is to Plan for Raw Materials and Packaging Materials based on approved Business
plan.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand and implement Business Strategic Priorities through engaging with Internal Customers to Develop Partnerships and Capability
- Develop and operationalize Rolling Forecasts and Raw Materials Schedules
- Leverage Information Systems and data sources using tools inclusive of MSD365, Tableau, Insight, and DDMRP to support
- data reporting and analysis
- Implement strategies for Inventory optimization.
- Ensure individual KPI’s are aligned to the business objectives.
- Any other duties assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum requirement: B.Sc. in Statistics, Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or other engineering-related courses.
- Added advantage: M.Sc. in Statistics, MBA
- At least three years of experience in Logistics, working for an FMCG.
