Job Summary: The Marketing Data Analytics Intern plays a critical role in dissecting a variety of data forms to assist in decision-making processes pertinent to marketing strategies and business development. This position demands a detail-oriented, analytical thinker adept at managing marketing calendars and meticulously tracking performance metrics.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Website and Digital Marketing Data Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of website analytics, digital marketing performance, and customer interaction data to refine marketing strategies, crucial for understanding our digital footprint’s impact.
- Performance Metrics: Initiate and manage key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives, laying the foundation for analytics and performance measurement.
- Special Projects: Lead the analysis and optimisation of our various databases, extracting key insights to support strategic decisions. This role provides invaluable project leadership experience.
- Marketing Calendar Management: Oversee the marketing calendar with precision, ensuring all team members are up-to-date with timelines and deadlines, essential for grasping the broader marketing strategy.
- Website Optimization: Evaluate and recommend improvements for website content and structure to enhance SEO optimisation, thereby increasing visibility and user engagement. Analyse website traffic and user behaviour for actionable insights.
- Innovating with AI: Explore and implement AI-driven analysis tools and methodologies to uncover deeper insights and forecasts from marketing data, positioning the company at the cutting edge of marketing technology innovation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Educational Background: Graduate with a degree in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Data Interpretation: Ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly and concisely.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy.
