Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair heavy machinery vehicles such as Soho Trucks, Sino Trucks, Cranes, Excavators, and other industrial vehicles.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicles are operating efficiently and safely.
  • Perform inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment.
  • Repair and replace faulty parts, components, and systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on vehicles and operating equipment.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics, technicians, and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and meet production deadlines.
  • Stay updated with advancements in automotive technology and attend training sessions as required.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior mechanics and apprentices as needed.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a heavy truck mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy machinery systems, components, and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy parts and work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
