Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote performance culture on all 3 rig sites, supported by performance dashboards to give a global view of the performances of each activity type and to give a regular update on realized performances to the rig crew.
- Lead the RTOSC (Real Time Operating Center) by ensuring permanent (24/7) operation tracking and seamless exchanges of performance information between RTOC engineers and performance pusher engineers on each rig.
- Responsible for consolidating Drilling & Wells Cost Performance Indicators (CPI’s) & Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) used to benchmark and communicate the drilling & wells operations performance of the Company.
- Responsible for implementing the organizational model of the Improvement Wheel phased with the well delivery cycle (Design, Execution, Measure and Post Mortem) to reach continual improvement.
- Responsible for implementing debriefing and workshops, catching lessons learned and best practices, giving feedbacks and communicating objectives, implementing action lists, developing a performance spirit/culture and involving contractor & service companies, using dashboard tool, identifying new technology opportunities.
- Report CPI’s & KPI’s for drilling, completion & well intervention operations on a monthly basis to the management.
- Verify the wells operation performance database and the best composite curve are permanently updated and ensure it is used as the “Reference” for performance monitoring.
- Track the actions issued from the DWIP and store them in the Action Item Register, assigning tasks to the action leader, fixing deadlines & criticality, sending reminders and sharing action lists between all.
- Investigate along with the Drilling & Wells team on technological breakthroughs, different engineering concepts, different operating modes to achieve step changes in performance & cost.
- Perform on site instructions / drilling program cross-checking, to ensure synchronization & best practices capture.
- Build a long term well operation cost and performance roadmap, planning for the implementation of new technologies, advanced procedures & equipment as well as ILT and NPT reduction.
- Digital: develop the digital roadmap of the project, liaising with drilling contractors, HQ and software suppliers to find tool(s), as user friendly/push button/paper less as possible to combine, ideally on the same platform, the following tasks:
- Pre-established, automatic, collaborative, D&W programs initial writing and update linked with engineering software’s.
- Automatic transfer/ data gathering and storage of CTRs on live well data records to a patrimonial database.
- D&W data management device with relevant extractions for operation, cost & HSE follow-up, for operation improvement, for engineering work and for end of well report.
- Operational apps deployment in view of improving anomalies’ detection, thus operations safety and performance.
- Automatic comparison of ongoing operations with best composite with identification of area of improvement.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Petroleum Industry MSc (or equivalent professional experience) a minimum of 8 years of international experience in drilling and / or completion engineering.
- A minimum of 8 years of international experience in drilling and or completion engineering. 3 years minimum exposure to operations. 1 year or more experience in a Method or digital position is an added advantage. .
- Very good interpersonal skills, dynamic.
- Multidisciplinary operational competencies in drilling, completion.
- Innovation a performance minded.
