Job Title:  Laboratory Chemist (Fresher Jobs)

Client Brief

Our client is a manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Job Summary:   The Laboratory Chemist will be in charge of material testing and diagnosis in accordance with the set quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain good working conditions of equipment and tools.
• Ensure good storage and monitoring of representative samples.
• Undertake chemical tests on leady oxide, residual lead, etc.
• Carry out and correct sample preparations and metal alloy analysis using OES, AAS, ICP.
• Routine sampling and testing of treated wastewater quality
• Compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Preparation of daily, weekly test reports.
• Carry out internal calibration of all equipment in the laboratory.
• Inspection of received raw material (battery scrap and plate scrap) .

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Science Laboratory, Industrial Chemistry Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering
• A minimum of one year of experience
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, EOHS guidelines, Kaizen and Cleaner Technology
• Experience with HACCP, PDCA and Kaizen 5s
• Material storage
• Laboratory and trouble shooting skills
• Analytical and Interpretation of laboratory results
• Communication and decision making skills
• Planning and organizing skills
• Analytical and Interpretation of laboratory results
