Job Summary: As a Financial Analyst you will play a critical role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights, develop financial models, prepare investor-related documentation and contribute to strategic initiatives that drive sustainable growth and profitability for the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze key financial and operational metrics in the different business lines, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimise performance and mitigate risks
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely pitch decks, information memorandums and other relevant reports to investors and potential financiers
- Capital Management: Support capital allocation decisions through a thorough analysis of investment opportunities, ROI calculations, and risk assessments.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and product development, to provide financial guidance and support strategic initiatives.
- Market Research: Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, benchmarks, and growth opportunities.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by senior management, investors, or external stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and pursuing an MBA or CFA designation.
- One to two years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, consulting, or related fields.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
