Job Summary: The Digital Marketing Executive will be involved in assisting the overall marketing team to achieve the department target through developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns. The aim is to promote VAAL Products and Services under the Marketing Managers Supervision.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Writing, reviewing, editing & updating content for company websites, blogs, social media, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
- Design, build and maintain our social media presence.
- Setting up, monitor and amend Digital Ads (Social Media Platforms, Google, etc.)
- Using digital channels to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, promote company initiatives and identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and come up with new topics.
- Manage & improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics as well as conducting simple keyword research & use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
- Stay up to date with latest technology and best practices for Digital Marketing inclusive of identifying trends and insights to optimize spend and performance.
- Media buying and targeting for all digital channels.
- Sourcing and securing online advertising platforms.
- Ensure consistency for all digital content prior posting (style, fonts, images and tone).
- Plan and execute E-Shots and SMS Marketing
- Evaluate and Report Performance of Digital Marketing Campaigns, and assess against goals (ROl and KP|s)
- Liaise with Digital Agency (if one is engaged) to ensure Digital Strategy and Marketing Plans are being implemented correctly.
- Monitor competition and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Support in creating the Quarterly Digital Strategy.
- Any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post.
- Supporting the overall marketing team.
