Job Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and insightful Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical skills, a passion for digging into data to uncover insights, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to influence business decisions. As a Data Analyst at Webale, you will play a crucial role in analysing performance indicators, highlighting trends, and recommending strategies for improvement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and perform statistical analyses on large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data analysis needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Create visualizations and reports that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Monitor analytics and metrics results, performing regular audits to ensure data accuracy.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS) and database languages (e.g., SQL).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data in a clear and compelling manner.
