Job Summary:   The Certification Officer will be responsible for managing and overseeing the certification process for the company’s organic products. The duties will include conducting audits, reviewing documentation, creating reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The following will be the roles and responsibilities of the certification Officer at Aaryanshh Organic Limited.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure traceability details which include payment vouchers, daily purchase sheets and internal dispatch notes are in place and readily available during the procurement season.
  • Develop and ensure a proper product flow.
  • Ensure that all records of processed products are properly documented and kept.
  • Develop systems and a better way the company can procure, store, and process its products.
  • Continuously follow up on farmers to ensure organic standards are being followed and ensure he/she finds solutions to the challenges faced by farmers.
  • Carry out internal inspection of different project location for both seasons in a year.
  • Ensure the external audit goes smoothly by coordinating and assisting in the whole process.
  • Prepare the documentation of Projects as per the requirement of ICS and ensure all the documents related to operations are up to date. These documents are farmer agreement, farm diary, farm map internal inspection checklist, overview map and route map.
  • Ensure that the data collection has been done from each farmer in both seasons of the year.
  • Train field officers on the compliance requirements, ICS, documentation, all required for a successful audit process.
  • Submit a daily report on the project progress on matters related to certification compliance.
  • Ensure that the conflict-of-interest document is signed before the audit.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant should hold a degree/diploma in Agriculture.
  • Agronomist experience will be an added advantage.
  • Two years of experience in the related field
  • Prior knowledge in certification is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in a high growth and dynamic business environment.
  • Good Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-Motivated/Ability to work with minimal supervision.
