Job Title:    Production Foreman (Entry Level Jobs)

About US:

Kampala Capital City Authority is the legal entity, established by the Ugandan Parliament that is responsible for the operations of the capital city of Kampala in Uganda. It replaced the Kampala City Council.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent will be responsible to the Civil Engineer Maintenance Materials for performing the following duties:-

• Implementing the Engineers’ specifications on site in accordance with the set guidelines;
• Supervising and ensuring quality control through testing of materials to confirm to the set standards;
• Maintaining site diary on weather, manpower, materials and equipment in accordance with the set guidelines;
• Preparing site reports on gangs’ performance, work execution and suggesting ways to improve to Site Engineer;
• Developing monthly plans and organizing tasks to be completed within the allotted time;
• Promoting health and safety of work site by instructing gangs on how to use tools and equipment;
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Applicants should be Ugandans holding an advanced Diploma in either Civil Engineering; or Project Management; or Construction Management from a recognized University / Institution.
• Applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years relevant working experience in construction works reputable organizations
• Minimum Age: 20 years

• Falsification of documents will lead to automatic disqualification.
