Job Title:  Data Center Operator

ITHUBA is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization in Africa within the exciting world of Lottery and Gaming. ITHUBA Uganda Limited was recently licensed to run the National Lottery on behalf of the Government of Uganda.

Job Summary:   The Data Center Operator monitors, identifies, and resolves issues concerning the data center, server equipment and backup equipment; performs upgrades, assists with data storage issues, maintains data center documentation, tracks physical data center inventory, and maintains disaster recover processes and documentation. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that data center operations are monitored, available for processing, and that data center is ready for daily draw procedures.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a University degree in Information Technology or related field
• At least three years of experience in Data Center Operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work in shifts.
