Key Duties and Responsibilities: As a Country Manager, your responsibilities include but not limited to:
Business Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to achieve sales targets and market expansion goals.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels to maximize revenue generation.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including mobile network operators, retailers, distributors, and government agencies.
Market Analysis and Planning:
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Utilize market insights to develop sales forecasts, pricing strategies, and product positioning plans.
- Drive the development of annual and quarterly business plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of sales, marketing, and operational professionals.
- Set clear performance targets, provide regular coaching and feedback, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments to drive organizational alignment and synergy.
Brand Management:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities to build brand awareness and drive customer acquisition.
- Maintain brand integrity and consistency across all marketing collateral, advertising channels, and customer touchpoints.
- Monitor brand performance metrics and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, sales forecasts, and financial reports to monitor performance against targets.
- Implement cost optimization measures and ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize profitability.
- Monitor and analyze financial KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements, industry standards, and compliance obligations related to the mobile industry.
- Ensure adherence to local laws, regulations, and licensing requirements in all business operations.
- Proactively address any legal or compliance issues to mitigate risks and maintain the company’s reputation and integrity.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of successful leadership and management experience in the mobile industry or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of mobile technologies, products, and services, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and trends.
- Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving business growth and achieving targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
