Job Summary: The Country Manager Develops country strategy and organization and manages the Country PAL. Ensure Ipsos excellence of services and drives growth for the country giving to clients the best from Ipsos. Represent Ipsos in the country and be the guarantor of compliance with local laws. Leveraging global resources knowledge and capabilities to maximise local opportunities for continued growth within the respective market.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Country Strategy
- Understand deeply the country’s market context and competitive landscape.
- Build the strategic orientation for the country:
- Define market potential, identify strategic clients. and understand clients’ strategy
- Agree on the Service Lines strategic orientation with SLLs Develop a commercial strategy for the country.
- Define revenue target per client in coordination with the CCO and CCDs for globally managed clients
Business Management
- Contribute to Global Service Line’s go-to-market.
- Follow up commercial strategy.
- Coordinate with Global Service Lines and neighbouring countries to sell, execute and deliver services that may not be covered by the country.
- Manage the use of the (internal) pricing tools approved by Ipsos globally at the sole pricing tool for intercompany costing/pricing.
Contract Management
- as needed, at client report meetings end activation workshops for significant projects.
- Mobilize Ipsos organization in managing critical challenges and Issues raised by clients.
Leadership & Management
- Adopt and develop a management style aligned with the style of the ‘Ipsos Leadership Behaviours”, aligned with Ipsos’s vision and keeping an open view for continuous improvement.
- Manage a team of sales and service professionals end directly supervise Service Line Leads
- Develop a clear vision of the business goals in driving results
- Build relationships ‘with staff, and establish rapport. trust and credibility with direct reports.
- Evaluate the existing team members to determine the level of future contributions.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- At least fifteen years of related work experience including: People management, Client relationship management, Multi-stakeholder relationship management, C-suite relationship management
- Market Research and general growth strategy knowledge
- Country Industry Knowledge
- Detailed understanding of Ipsos Service Lines to enable opportunity identification
- Advisory — Strategic Thinking and able to add Insight Business and commercial acumen
