Job Summary:  As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, a solid engineering foundation, and a proven track record of successfully managing construction sites.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and standards on-site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to enhance team performance.
  • Conduct regular meetings to communicate project goals, expectations, and updates.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that construction activities adhere to industry standards and comply with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Implement quality control measures to guarantee the delivery of high-quality workmanship.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Monitor project budgets and expenses to control costs effectively.
  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Communication:

  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Thorough understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
