Goodman International Ltd, a leading Pharmaceutical Company based in Kampala – Uganda, dealing in Importation and Distribution of Human and Veterinary Medicines surgical and Nutrition products. The company is an Agent & Local Technical Representative (LTR) for Several Manufacturers from Europe and Middle East.
We are looking for Honest & Trustworthy, Smart, and Qualified Candidates to join the Company and occupy the below position: –
Assistant Store Manager (01)
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To be fully in-charge and responsible for the stocks stored in and leaving the store, and always ensure that supporting documents are verified and signed.
- Participate and supervise the monthly stock taking exercise in conjunction with the accounts department team.
- To work hand in hand with the store manager to oversee the reviewing and verification of the computerized invoices issued by the Sales department.
- To ensure proper handling and storage of store equipment in good condition.
- To ensure that orders are received, processed on time and dispatch as per the schedule.
- Prepare and maintain updated information for samples and expiry dates.
- Filing invoices and all other documents daily in the stores department as assigned to you by your line manager.
- Supervision of all the stores staff to ensure all the tasks are completed on time.
- Make sure that the store is well organized and presentable at all times.
- Perform any other duty assigned from time to time by line manager or management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Academic Qualifications – Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Procurement and Logistic Management or any other related Field from accredited institution.
- Must have at least three years of working experience in store management.
- Someone with similar working experience is of added advantage.
- Excellent Communication, documentation & Customer care skills.
- Should be Smart, Active, Motivated and ready to learn.
- Should be familiar with Stores Related reports, invoicing, stock taking etc.
- Should preferably be 35 years and below.
- Should be a computer literate with good command of Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel, email, and Access & Power point.
