Job Summary: The Asset Financing Sales Associate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with a Company’s clients or customers. They act as the primary point of contact between a business and its customers, and are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing sales opportunities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients or customers.
- Understanding the needs of clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Identifying new sales opportunities and generating revenue for the company.
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure customer success.
- Managing and resolving customer issues and complaints promptly.
- Developing and executing strategic account plans to achieve business objectives.
- Providing regular updates to customers on the status of their accounts and any relevant company news or product updates.
- Analyzing sales data and creating reports to present to management.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity.
- Attending industry events and conferences to network and promote the company’s products or services.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or related degree
- Advanced training in sales or marketing, team building, leadership, management and other business areas
- Minimum of 3 years of sales and business development experience in the automotive industry.
- Demonstrated experience in revenue generation and sales, managing complex projects and growing/scaling an unstructured business
- Experience working in a matrix, extremely dynamic, fast-paced, results-oriented multi-country environment; and prioritization
- Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision
- Strong business /sales acumen
- Proven track record of revenue generation
- Good people management skills
- Strong reporting skills
- Ability to define the long-term business strategy while also addressing the hands-on tactical needs of the business at all levels
- Proactive, ethical, high energy, hands-on salesperson with great interpersonal skills to function across all levels of the organization as well as with external entities
- Thoughtful and demonstrates good judgment and strong decision-making based on accurate and timely analysis
- Strong organizational and project management skills; attention to detail
- Proven business management experience in an unstructured and fast-paced environment
- Proven experience building strong business partnerships and executive presence; able to establish credibility and support with other stakeholders
- Results-oriented approach to work; willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team
- Ability to identify and implement efficiencies and process improvements
- Able to deliver the highest standards of customer service
- Strong problem-solving and creative skills
- Understand the extended enterprise and have an appreciation for value creation based on an understanding of the overall vision for the business
