Job Title: Agronomist Packhouse Quality Controller

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Agronomist Packhouse Quality Controller who is a team player and looking to join our growing team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct extension visits to farmers to provide guidance and support in the cultivation of export crops, including chilli, habaneros, and hass avocados.
- Monitor and assess crop health, pest management of farmer fields and ensure corrective actions are adhered to and optimize crop quality and yield.
- Perform quality control inspections within the Packhouse to ensure compliance with export standards and specifications.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the packing process, including sorting, grading, and packaging of produce.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to facilitate the timely and efficient export of crops, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in crop protection, agriculture, or related field.
- At least two years of practical work experience in agronomy, crop production, or quality control within the agricultural sector.
- Strong willingness to work both in the field and within the Packhouse environment.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new processes and work as a team player
- Preferably, experience working with export crops and familiarity with export market requirements and standards.
