Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements for decision-making.
- Record, classify, and verify financial transactions.
- Produce final accounts and monthly management reports.
- Reconcile bank payments and client slips.
- Ensure financial prudence and budget compliance.
- Investigate budget and account variances, reporting discrepancies.
- Assist in risk management and business strategy development.
- Manage payroll and capital planning.
- Prepare budgets for activities and the organization.
- Ensure adherence to financial strategy and business plan.
- Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Accounting), BBA (Finance & Accounting), or related field from a recognized institution.
- CPA Member
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Ms. Excel, Tally, and QuickBooks.
- At least five years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
- Highly motivated team player.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative and innovative thinker.
- Intellectually confident with a good sense of judgment.
- Well-organized with strong initiative.
- Proven experience in financial management and leadership roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of local and international accounting standards.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Age 35 and above.
