About BOU:
The Bank of Uganda (BoU) is the Central Bank of the Republic of Uganda. It was opened on the 15th August 1966. It is 100% owned by the Government of Uganda but it is not a government Department. Bank of Uganda conducts all its activities in close association with the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MoFPED). Bank of Uganda is responsible for monetary policy and maintaining price stability.
Job Summary: Bank of Uganda invites applications from qualified Ugandans to fill the above entry level positions in various departments of the Bank.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- All candidates for the Banking Officer jobs must hold a First Class or Upper Second-Class degrees from recognized universities in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration. Statistics, Information Technology. Computer Science, Library & Information Science, Human Resource, Statistics, Procurement, Public Relations, Law (with a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice) and other related disciplines.
- Competencies: Analytical, attention to detail, teamwork, interpersonal skills, high level of integrity, transparent, problem solving, written & verbal communication accuracy and innovative.
- Age: Not above 26 years (as at close of the advert).
