Kakira Sugar Limited (KSL) is a leading sugar manufacturer in Uganda. KSL boasts of two sugar estates, one in Kakira – Jinja and the other in Kayunga.
Job Summary: The Supervisor – Fuel will be taking charge of the general operations of fuel station within Kayunga Sugar Estate i.e. monitoring fuel usage and distribution on the Estate.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recording, capturing, checking, and filing fuel data for Workshop Fleet within the Estate.
- Ensuring there are no errors in the fuel distribution reports especially in KM/HR readings.
- Providing all the required fuel data from the Kayunga Sugar Estate stations and Fleet to the Fuel Clerk to generate the Fuel Report.
- Enforcing and adhering to the safety, Health, and Environment policy of the company.
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned to you by the Workshop Administrator/ Management from time to time. Please note that you may be required to work anywhere within the company.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a degree in Business Administration or Management studies.
- Two years of working experience in an administrative role.
- Computer literate (Ms office) a must have and ability to use SAP (MM module) will be an added advantage.
- Proven Supervisory, leadership and administration skills.
- Communication Skills
- Able to generate reports and with very good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ms Office: Should be able to generate fuel usage & monitoring reports using excel and word.
- Analytical Skills: Able to analyse reports and interpret them for implementation purpose.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact/ mobilise workers to achieve the required targets
- People Skills: Ability to interact with workers at all levels.
