Job Summary: The Senior Human Resource and Administrative Manager will be responsible for planning all HR functions and runs the whole HR department, with activities ranging from recruitment, payroll, compensation, benefits, training, and policy development
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes.
- Recruit and train personnel and allocate responsibilities and office space.
- Provide assistance on grievance handling and disciplinary process.
- Ensure timely submission of the HRSAP timesheets and coordinate the teams.
- Provide support in implementation of the HR procedures and policies in compliance with the Labour laws.
- Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations including managing schedules and deadlines.
- Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints including costs and expenses.
- Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and tradespersons (e.g. electricians).
- Organize and supervise other office activities (recycling, renovations, event planning etc.) in compliance with the company policies and regulations.
- Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Degree in Administration or Human Resource Management related discipline or Professional certificate/training in a related field with 5 years of experience practising Human Resource and Administration Management in an international construction company.
- 12 years of proven work experience in advanced knowledge of Business and Administration.
- Must be an ERP/SAP super user.
- Must have served in an international construction company at a senior managerial level for a minimum of 5 years.
- Experience working on international construction projects is an added advantage
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills
