Job Summary: The Easy Housing is looking for a sales intern! To further develop the market potential in Uganda, we are expanding our team with a dedicated sales person that knows their way in the housing sector. The ideal candidate has a passion for sales and is eager to learn about our building concept. You will be well-versed in lead generation, client prospecting, and deal negotiation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handling incoming messages on WhatsApp for Business
- Following up with clients from first contact till signed contract, including:
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through social media, cold calling and networking
- Preparing and sending out quotations
- Setting up meetings with (potential) clients to discuss projects and contracts (among other things)
- Keeping an overview of all (potential) clients and leads
- Participate in exhibitions and conferences, presenting Easy Housing
- Frequent reviews on sales and financial data and customer feedback, and reporting back to the team
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education in sales or similar
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Affinity with sustainable and affordable housing
- Fast learner and self-motivated with a passion for sales
- Strong presentation skills
- Fluency in English, both written and verbally – Luganda is a plus
- Based in Kampala
