Job Summary: The Officer – Human Resources plays a crucial role in supporting and implementing various HR strategies and initiatives. The primary purpose of this role is to provide HR support, manage HR operations, and contribute to the overall success of the organization by ensuring effective human capital management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Successful recruitment and onboarding of qualified candidates.
- Effective employee relations management and conflict resolution.
- Implementation of performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
- Timely and accurate administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Compliance with HR policies and labour laws.
- Employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
- Higher Diploma in HRM or progress in CHRP
- Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management of Uganda.
- One to two years of experience in a busy HR department.
