Job Summary: The Data Analyst is an exciting role which involves analyzing the institution’s financial data to effectively track and enhance performance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce comprehensive quarterly financial reports, encompassing statements of financial position/balance sheet, profit-loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Generate performance ratios to evaluate the institution’s portfolio quality, efficiency, productivity, financial management/risk management, and profitability and sustainability.
- Interpret reports and provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Finance and Admin Officer to ensure proper data management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A university degree in Statistics, Computer Science, IT, Microfinance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- This is an entry-level position, making it an excellent opportunity for recent graduates; no prior experience is required.
Skills
The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret performance reports and financial statements.
- Proficient use of the internet to gather relevant data/information from credible sources.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
