Job Summary: The Customer Care Intern at ChapChap will play a pivotal role in supporting the customer care department’s daily operations. This role is designed to provide valuable experience and training in delivering exceptional customer service and support. The Customer Care Intern will collaborate with members of the customer support team and interact with customers to address their inquiries and concerns.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and maintaining customer support channels, including chat, email, and phone.
- Provide timely and courteous responses to customer inquiries and resolve issues to their satisfaction.
- Learn and adhere to company values and standards in customer interactions.
- Participate in coaching and training sessions to enhance customer service skills.
- Gain an understanding of various customer support team roles and contribute to team success.
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing customer feedback and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective customer support operations.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Timely and effective response to customer inquiries.
- Positive feedback and satisfaction ratings from customers.
- Adherence to company values and standards in customer interactions.
- Active participation in training and development activities.
- Contribution to team success and achievement of performance targets.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in business administration, communications, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn and use customer service software.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic customer support team.
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a customer service or support role.
- Familiarity with customer service software and CRM systems.
- Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
- Area of residence within 10km from Chap Chap Head Office (Anglican Shrine Namugongo).
- Enthusiastic and customer-focused.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Adaptability and a positive attitude in high-pressure situations.
